Guidelines For NEET Exam Day- Instructions On The Admit Card 

NEET admit card is one of the most significant documents candidates need to have for the exam. NTA releases the hall ticket or the admit card for the NEET exam a few days prior to the exam day. NEET admit card has all the crucial details that NEET aspirants must know and follow. Students must scrupulously read these instructions given in their respective NEET admit cards. These NEET rules & regulations are discussed below.

  • Mobile or communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall
  • Candidates need to stick to the regulations concerning the dress code
  • Applicants, as well as their guardians/parents, have to carefully go through the ‘Information Bulletin‘ provided prior to the NEET exam and strictly comply with the rules. Any violation can lead to failure to write the examination even for future attempts

Guidelines For NEET Exam Day- Exam Hall Instructions

There are certain specific rules due to the current pandemic scenarios. Candidates need to be aware of these NEET rules & regulations when they enter, when they are inside and when they leave the exam hall.

  • Prior to entering the exam hall
    • Students have to report at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the NEET exam. After this, no student will be permitted to enter the exam hall. So, students need to consider different factors like weather conditions, location of the exam centre, traffic, and so on
    • Candidates need to maintain social distance when inside the exam hall
    • The concerned person will examine the candidate’s body temperature and metal detectors will be employed for frisking
    • All students need to wash/sanitize their hands prior to entering the exam hall
    • In accordance with the Covid-19 regulations, students need to show their documents to the concerned person from a safe distance as recommended
    • Upon completion of the verification, candidates are informed about their seating arrangements
  • Inside the examination hall
    • Candidates will be asked to sign their NEET admit card

As NEET is a single entrance examination for medical courses in India, there is a huge amount of participation. Hence, the competition is fierce and the exam is difficult to crack.   • Students are not allowed to wear light clothes with long sleeves

  • Candidates are not allowed to wear shoes. They can wear sandals with low heels or slippers

Candidates need to bring the following items to the exam hall for the NEET exam:

  • NEET admit card with the candidate’s passport size photo affixed on it
  • One passport size photo for the attendance sheet
  • Valid identity proof (Should be original like Class XII admit card with photo, Ration card/Aadhaar card/Passport/Voter ID/Driving License/PAN card/ any valid government-issued photo ID)
  • PwBD certificate, if applicable
  • Printed proforma with the postcard size photo the candidate affixed on it
  • Scribe (‘Letter of Undertaking’ for bringing their own scribe), if required
