NEET 2022 Expected Exam Date
NEET 2022 i.e National Eiliigbility entrance test 2022 – Exam that is conducted at an all India level – is likely to be held in the month of June this year (2022) and the applications forms are expected to be out by March 2022 depending on the COVID-19 situation.
NEET 2022 will be conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission into undergraduate medical and dental courses including, MBBS, AYUSH, BDS. Nearly a month window will be given to you all to fill out the application form with an edit option for the error-free application.
NEET 2022 to have internal choices?
This time like last year, this entrance exam is expected to be held with a new exam pattern offering internal choices to the students.
The 3 hour NEET exam is expected to have 200 questions out of which candidates will have a choice of answering 180 questions. The exam will be divided into three sections Physics, chemistry, biology with a total of 720 marks
Subject Weightage: Out of 200 questions, 100 marks will be for the biology section (with all compulsory questions to attempt) and 50 questions will be each from physics and chemistry.
Note: Candidates will have to attend 35 questions from physics and chemistry separately.
Marking System:Â For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded to the candidate and for a wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
NEET 2022: Will it happen twice?
The demand has increased to make NEET a low stake exam. In order to give students an extra chance, last year the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health had discussed conducting the medical entrance exam twice. This year also a discussion has been held among the Education & Health Ministry but no official statement has come yet.
